The six golf courses near Banff and Canmore are: SilverTip, Kananaskis, Stewart Creek, Banff Springs and Canmore. You can plan your entire golf holiday or fit in a game around your holiday schedule. The golf season usually begins around mid-May and usually finishes around early-October. The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course This challenging 7,083 yard, 27-hole course offers scenic thrills and golf challenges throughout its Stanley Thompson 18 hole and The Tunnel 9 hole courses. Amateurs and professionals are constantly amazed by its panoramic challenges and breathtaking views. A driving range and practice putting greens are close to the modern and friendly clubhouse. The Club House is a 30-minute walk from the hotel. A shuttle service is available between the hotel and the Club House, and leaves every half hour from the hotel's main entrance. A strict dress code applies. Graphite clubs and the buggies are provided with complimentary balls, tees, markers, pitch repairers, score cards and pencils.
