Banff: Canoeing Enjoy the mountain views and wildlife in Banff National Park from the tranquillity of the lakes and rivers. You can start your journey from Banff at the Blue Canoe Docks.

The three most popular routes are: Lake Louise to Castle Junction (22Km), Castle Junction to Banff (32Km) and Bow Falls to Canmore (23Km).

You must be 18+ to rent a canoe. A major credit card is required as a security deposit for every rental. Guided tours are available from the Blue Canoe Docks.

Whitewater rafting

Banff: Rafting Experience the exhilaration of white water rafting. Whatever your level of adventure, all are catered for with the Bow River in Banff offering a gentle relaxing float trip; Mile 5 or Athabasca Falls in Jasper particularly well suited for an introduction or families with young children to white water rafting, and the turbulent Kicking Horse River in Yoho National Park offering the true whitewater thrills.

Guided tours are available from Banff and some include a nature stop for the opportunity to take pictures.
